Hi, I’m Ericka — a photographer fueled by good coffee, in depth conversation, inspired by travel, endlessly entertained by my two cats, and deeply passionate about capturing the moments that matter most.

Photography, for me, is about storytelling. It’s about preserving the quiet in-between glances, the genuine laughter, the happy tears, and the fleeting emotions that make life unforgettable. I’m drawn to the moments you can feel — the ones that pass in the blink of an eye but mean everything when you look back.

I specialize in capturing life’s most meaningful milestones, including weddings, engagements, maternity, newborn, and senior portraits. From the joyful chaos and emotion of a wedding day, to the tender, fleeting details of a newborn’s first days, to the excitement of an engagement or the confidence and pride of senior photos — every session is approached with intention and care. I want you to feel comfortable, relaxed, and truly yourself in front of my camera, so your images feel natural, emotional, and timeless. These chapters of life go by quickly, and my goal is to preserve them in a way that allows you to relive them for years to come.

Outside of my personal business, I work as a Public Affairs Specialist for the U.S. Army base, Fort Lee Garrison Office, and I also serve as a Public Affairs Specialist in the U.S. Army Virginia National Guard. Through these roles, I document real moments as they unfold — experiences that have sharpened my eye for emotion, strengthened my storytelling skills, and taught me how to anticipate meaningful moments before they happen. Guard missions have afforded me the opportunity to travel within the states to Washington D.C., Louisiana, Illinois, and Alaska, reinforcing my ability to adapt quickly and capture powerful stories wherever I’m sent.

That same mindset carries into my personal photography. I don’t just take photos — I observe, connect, and document your story with heart. When you look back at your images, I want you to remember not just how everything looked, but how it felt.

When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll usually find me planning my next adventure, enjoying a cozy coffee shop, or at home with my cats editing galleries and dreaming up new creative projects.
